Program Introduction
As business and social interactions cross global borders, the need
for qualified interpreters and English language teachers continues to
grow. At Western, we can help turn your passion for language into a
world-spanning career.Our Master of Interpreting and Translation gives fluent bilinguals
the theoretical background and advanced skills necessary to work as a
professional interpreter or translator, with particular emphasis on
Legal and Medical Interpreting. We also deliver studies in Audiovisual
Translation, something no other university currently offers.
