Program Introduction
This master's in Planning and Environment Research will suit those looking to specialise in environmental or landscape planning research.The course will prepare you for a PhD in the field of environmental/ landscape planning. It will equip you with the knowledge, skills and understanding to pursue a research career. You'll develop a range of strong research skills including data collection and analysis. These skills will be relevant to a variety of organisations in the public, private and voluntary sectors.You'll gain an understanding of a range of contemporary and specialised issues in environmental planning research.The course is recognised by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) under the 1+3 system (master's plus PhD) for postgraduate studies.
