Program Introduction
The MA in Public History and Heritage is ideal if you are directly
aiming for a career in that field. We offer a flexible programme
designed to offer academic training and relevant employability skills.
You will have the chance to engage with external heritage organisations
and gain practical, hands-on experience with staff projects in heritage
and public history. A range of stimulating and relevant
modules are available to choose, covering topics from Ancient Egypt,
Greece, and Rome to contemporary local history.In the second part of the course you have a choice of a 60-credit
practice-based dissertation project, or a 60-credit written dissertation
project.
