Program Introduction
The Master of Engineering (Biomedical) capitalises on the growing opportunities for biomedical engineers caused by various factors including the demand for increasingly sophisticated medical technology to support the quality of life of an ageing population, and the demand for devices to improve health and fitness particularly within elite sports.These courses focus on Flinders University’s strengths in biomedical engineering that distinguish us from most other Australian universities. This is demonstrated by the fact that Flinders biomedical engineer Professor Karen Reynolds was named in the Top 100 Most Influential Engineers in Australia for 2012, 2013 and 2015.
