Landscape architecture involves the planning and design of outdoor
areas in both public and private settings, such as parks, gardens,
campuses, commercial centres and waterfront developments. By studying at
UC you’ll examine the complexities of urban and regional spaces across
all layers of the landscape, while investigating topical issues in
landscape architecture theory and practice. The rich and culturally
diverse ways in which landscapes are understood will be explored,
especially from Indigenous perspectives.This dynamic and innovative course combines
research-led teaching with practical learning including design studio
activities, seminars, tutorials and field trips. At the conclusion of
your course, you can choose to either forge an immediate career in the
industry, or enrol in a one-year Bachelor of Landscape Architecture
(Honours).
