Program Introduction
Building on the University’s strong tradition of science fiction scholarship and teaching, and the fact that we host the largest specialist collection of science fiction materials in Europe, this programme will equip you with knowledge required to understand the role that science fiction plays in society.Ranging from The Enlightenment to contemporary fiction, and
considering areas such as science and technology studies, and how
visions of the future are constructed and interpreted, this pathway is
both historical and forward-looking.
