This masters is aimed at students who want to follow an ESRC-funded pathway onto a PhD or are interested in developing a wide range of social science research techniques. It will equip you with the theory and practical skills to carry out independent research.

the philosophical, ethical and political issues that underpin social sciences research
theories of research design
