The rapid evolution of digital technologies and innovations in design
and construction is transforming how professionals in the architecture,
engineering and construction (AEC) industry are creating, communicating
and interacting.Building information modelling (BIM) is emerging as a new method,
process and technology for creating and managing information for a built
asset. Automating information flow across disciplines, BIM is embedding
a culture of collaboration, integration and coordination across the
design, construction and operational phases of building projects.
