Combining the academic excellence and industrial networks from our outstanding School of Management and Faculty of Engineering & Design, our course builds your skills in leadership and management and teaches you how to apply them in an engineering context. You'll explore the impact of new technologies and how they relate to management in the engineering sector. Your studies will include business analysis, product development and supply chain management.

Throughout the course, you'll develop a strong foundation in management essentials such as project management, strategy, operations and finance. You'll also have the opportunity to focus on areas of management that are most interesting to you.

Team working is a key feature of the course. The teaching environment provides an opportunity to develop your skills working in multidisciplinary teams, applying your diverse skills and experience to a range of contemporary case studies. You can also choose to carry out a practice track project which allows you to work on a real engineering management challenge together with an industrial partner.
